Ignaguration “Generation Crisis” – Berlin

On 3rd of Novembre, the Seminar “Generation Crisis?”, taking place in Berlin was officially opened.

On the name of AHEAD, the president Xavier Baró opened the seminar, together with our partner organisation and main coordinator of the course Democratie und Dialog.

The innaguration counted as well with the welcoming words from the Friederich Ebebert Stiftung, the Spanish Ambassador in Germany and the State Secretary of the German Republic.

As partner organization AHEAD, is contributing with its trainers Ljubov Lissina and Xavier Baró to the facilitation of the event.

AHEAD is the official partner from Spain for the Project and 20 participants from Catalonia and Spain are taking place in the Seminar alongside with other 20 young people, residents of Germany; altogether - 40 young media- and policy-makers.

The event is heartily hosted and supported by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and by the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Program of the European Commission.

Together, participants are investigating, questioning and reporting the EU crisis, its causes and effects, the responses and failures, the underlying reasons and growing resentments.

As the outcome of the seminar, the group of participants, through work in smaller intercultural teams, will document the impact, capture the arguments and portray the key players of the crisis in a captivating multimedia dossier, expressed in a variety of print, video and online formats.

 

“Generation Crisis” is a common project of the Berlin based think-tank Demokratie & Dialog (www.youthpolicy.org ) and the German association of young media makers Jugendpresse Deutschland (JPD) in collaboration with the Association of Human Rights Educators AHEAD.
