On November 15th, we initiated the workshop day on Citizenship for Global Justice with a training focused on Global Justice and Human Rights at the Espai Jove Casa Sagnier in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district. This initiative was launched in commemoration of the International Day for the Rights of Children (November 25th) and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (December 10th), in remembrance of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

During the training, we shared knowledge among the different participants and explored how these manifest in the day-to-day life of our society through discussions and various group activities.

Some of the activities focused on reflecting on our human needs and the conditions required to satisfy them. Others, with a more educational focus, included sharing knowledge about various conventions, articles, and key dates in the defense and promotion of Human Rights.

Furthermore, we adopted a global perspective to examine the differences and similarities in the conception and guarantee of rights between the Global South and the Global North, highlighting deficiencies and violations of the most fundamental rights.
