In frames of the last work package of the Remembrance Project GREM, the Multiplier Led Events have started taking place in different schools in Catalonia.
The activity begins with the following context:
“A group of historians has come to present a new educational methodology to encourage younger people's interest in history. In addition, they want to show what the historian's job is and what are the tools they work with.”
The historians (educators) introduce a suitcase they found in a lost archive. We start from the hypothesis that this suitcase was the property of a 20th century European businessman who suffered sabotage in his factory. It is for this reason that they ask for help from the participants to help clarify the mystery that hides the suitcase.
The participants are divided into 4 groups (one for each Research Axis) and the first object is distributed to each of the groups.
Key participants in the project include educators, with a particular focus on teachers of history, philosophy, ethics and religion at the secondary level. This collective will play a fundamental role as transmission agents, bringing the project to the classrooms and directly influencing the training of young people.
On the other hand, political leaders and public officials who operate in the field of education at local level are highlighted. These professionals will not only contribute to the integration of the project in the educational framework, but will also act as multipliers of the expected impact, ensuring effective dissemination.
The third target group is the game's own audience: young people and teenagers. This sector of the population forms the central focus of the project, since the game is specifically designed to sensitize them and encourage reflection on issues of democratic memory. Young people and adolescents are not only receptive to new forms of learning, but also become active agents of social change when they awaken to these fundamental questions.
This diversity of audiences ensures that the project comprehensively addresses the different levels of the educational community, from the academic field to the direct experience of young people, thus creating a significant and lasting impact.

Follow-up proposal
Once the Edutainment activity has been completed, and as a result of the debriefing of the activity, educators are invited to develop a specific follow-up with their groups of young people to continue working on the aspects raised by the activity.
According to the level of maturity and interest of the young people involved, we propose a list of possible lines of research directly related to the exercise of educational entertainment.
Find below some potential aspects to develop as a direct follow-up to the activity.
