Digital rights are the extension of human rights in the digital environment, including the rights to privacy, the right to un-manipulated information, the right to freedom of expression, among many others. The same rights and responsibilities that we human beings have in the physical world must also be protected online.
As an organisation dedicated to the promotion of human rights education and democratic values, AHEAD supports the role of youth work to counter digital threats and to promote the re-appropriation of digital tools for the defense and protection of fundamental rights.
The training course “Digital Rights and Responsibilities in Youth Work” contributes ideas, examples and practical tools through which youth workers, educators and youth leaders develop competences (knowledge, tools and attitudes) to develop digital responsibilities and raise awareness to protect and defend digital rights.
Dates of the course, from the 1st till the 7th October 2021 (arrival and departure days), in Coma-ruga (Tarragona)
