The Final event, came as a conclusion of the work developed the previous months involving children and young people from seven municipalities, the youth workers providing the youth services, and decision-makers, political representatives from these municipalities.
This final gathering took place at the same venue, as the Espai Jove, on Wednesday 23 October 2024. It involved the youth workers providing the youth services, the representatives of the youth organisations, and decision-makers, political representatives from these seven municipalities.
The objectives of the final event were:
- To present actions that had been implemented by the youth workers and services in each of the seven municipalities;
- To brainstorm together between youth workers, political representatives and workers from NGO’s;
- To create dialogue round-tables among the stakeholders in each municipality to promote effective children and youth participation;
- To identify and share the main needed to promote children and youth participation in decision-making in each of the participating municipalities.
The Final event also included as part of the programme of the day, the development of the Round tables session bringing together, working in subgroups by municipality, the youth workers providing the youth services, their representatives of the youth organisations, and decision-makers, political representatives from these municipalities.
