Last Thursday, November 17, the AHEAD team (Association of Educators in Human Rights) went to the Ronda Institute in Lleida to carry out a workshop based on the exhibition "Cicatrius compartides" .
The aim of the exhibition is to sensitize both the participants in the workshops and the educational community, in this case, about the critical situation of sexual violence suffered by the women of Butembo, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DR Congo). In addition, the aim is to raise the awareness of the people who visit the exhibition about the illegal exploitation of mines and the smuggling of the resources that are extracted, with the presence of mafias installed in the territory that operate in collusion with various organs of the political power, as well as with Western companies.
