Living Library Action in Barcelona

On Saturday, May 13th from 10:30 am to 2:00 p.m., the Association of Human Rights Educators- AHEAD opens the first Living Library with human books from the Euro-Mediterranean area in the center of Barcelona.

Especially recommended for those who want to hear the first person experiences of young refugees, activists and minorities from countries like Jordan, Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt or Tunisia; and from activists working in fields such as "La Jungle" in France, Italy or Slovakia.

The Living Library is part of the Euro-Mediterranean project "Euro-Mediterranean Living Libraries" funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission and has the support of the National Library of Catalonia, the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), ACATHI and the Anna Lindh Foundation.

The act is free and open to citizen participation and especially to members of the network interested in the current Euro-Mediterranean different realities.

A translation from Arabic, English and French to Catalan and Spanish will be offered.
